Strings Con Brio Presents: "Carnevale di venezia"
Strings Con Brio welcomes you to an evening in Venice. Allow music of the two most famous Venetian composers, Vivaldi and Albinoni, to carry you along the canals and over the famous Ponte dei Sospiri. Vivaldi is represented by the Cello Sonata in E Minor, featuring 17 year old Venice resident, Matrick Thorpe. Oboist, Greg Stead, will perform the Albinoni Oboe Concerto in D Minor. Selections from Italian opera will include O Mio Babbino Caro of Puccini and La Donna è Mobile by Verdi. Tenor, Michael Bodnyk, will sing the famous Verdi aria from “Rigoletto”.
